Who We Are
Islamic Hospice UK C.I.C was founded in memory of a loved one my brother who passed away from a terminal illness.
In his final days, our family struggled to find a hospice or care service that understood our cultural and Islamic needs.
This painful journey revealed a serious gap:
Many Muslim families believe hospices are Christian-based or do not accommodate Islamic practices.
We created Islamic Hospice UK so no Muslim patient or family ever feels unsupported again in a critical and difficult moment.
Community Based Hospice Support and Wellbeing Services
We are community based hospice support and wellbeing services provide compassionate, culturally appropriate care support ,including home visit spiritual services and Muslim chaplaincy, supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing in people’s homes and local communities settings throughout life and end-of-life.
Collaboration Opportunities
Islamic Hospices UK is operational as a community based spiritual care support and Muslim chaplaincy service, delivering voluntary home visits, bereavement and family support, and community outreach. Clinical hospice and medical services are part of our future development, and we are taking a phased, responsible approach aligned with UK regulations.
